What a great discovery. Strolling around looking for food we were becoming a tad disillusioned with the choice until my wife spotted this little restaurant with an interesting menu posted outside. The fact that it also started raining slightly at the same time possibly focussed our thinking as the restaurant is quite 'simple' - essentially, pleasantly unpretentious (we are in our 60s). But what a revelation. The food was, quite simply, exceptional and the service was both friendly and informative, particularly on some of the subtlety of the preparation, cooking and delivery. Immediately obvious to us that food appears to be a passion of all the staff. While the venue was quite quiet when we arrived it quickly got respectably busy as clearly those "in the know" arrived for a meal. In short, great food, great presentation and variety with engaging, professional and appreciative staff (of our comments).
